Ladder shroud tape was a mystery to me until I actually used it.
I tried it out on an embroidered semi-sheer London shade that will be used as a stationary valance.
Until I actually finished the shade, I couldn't visualize how it could stay in place without tacking, and also keep a "hazardous loop" (i.e. one exceeding 16.9") from being pulled out.
It is easy to use, effective, and barely noticeable. I love it!
Hi, I know this is an older post, but if you see this, would you be able to tell me how the ladder tape is attached to the shade? I am making some shades for my daughter's room and want them to be safe, but haven't been able to find any instructions anywhere for how to use this product. Thanks in advance for any help!
ReplyDeleteLeigh, I'm going to suggest that you look into Ring Licks from Safe-T-Shade- Google it, it'll come up easily. I'll be doing a post about them later this summer. They achieve compliance with the safety standards, and are easier and faster to use.
DeleteThank you for the post you have done on this ladder shroud tape. I am ordering some now and I was also trying to visualize how this worked.
ReplyDeleteHi Leigh- I will get back to you about this!
